The 1931 Trunk Murders The Story of Winnie Ruth Judd of Phoenix Arizona eBook Julie McDonald Reviews
Julie never ceases to amaze me with her knowledge of Arizona history! I had never heard this story before. What a sad story for the poor lady!
it was ok
This story is just unbelievable! I have to wonder how it could have happened! I appreciated the hard cold facts and personal insights from the author.
I love a good mystery, and this is very fascinating! I love the conversational tone of the book- I felt like I was sitting down over a cup of coffee listening to Julie telling the story.
Not enough information
I had heard about Winnie Ruth Judd all my life, in the same breaths as notorious criminals. This answered the questions in a non-glamorized or sensationalized manner that was edifying. Totally well-written.
This book offers nothing new. The Bommersbach book is complete and comprehensive. This was a waste of money for a regurgitation of information already carefully researched and laid out in Jana's great book.
Although written as a story, it was more like an advertisement for another book about the same subject..... Okay if you want the headline version of the story and have about an hour to read (very short book).
